during a scene i had with Carter we had a encounter where i struck and killed a local in a MVA i developed a severe case of depression and mental issues during a scene at yellow jack carter was very professional and took heed to what i was going thru and talked to me every step of the way and calmed me down after sending me home to sober up and handing me a card for a counselor i proceeded to take the advice from carter and go seek help upon that scene a 911 call came out from the counselor about a individual with a gun stating he killed a man and they didnt know if he was in danger to other people or themselves several units showed up including carter after a beanbag deployment carter risked their own life to lung and disarm me after being detained Carter then expressed in great concern for the safety of myself and my mental status and pleaded for me to goto a mental retreat for my health and i agreed
Carter Deserves this commendation not only for her professionalism but as well as the feeling of a personal perspective Carter did wonders with my scene and i cant find that type of Commitment to a scenario like that very often as i did with Carter it really hit home with me and it felt like something a Real World Officer would try to do Thank you Carter for this wonderful Encounter
Kieran D.

Kieran is always a delight to patrol with. He's knowledgeable, professional, and most important of all: fair. He treats civilians with utmost respect (and as a person who patrols CIV a lot, a lot of LEOs aren't so nice) and he isn't one of those guys who throws the book at a civilian because he can. I would like to see Kieran eventually make his way to the BCSO COC, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for him.
Victoria M.

Victoria is always going above and beyond when she is on patrol, I often ride along with her and I have noticed during our ride alongs, and outside of them that she has great knowledge of all the different aspects of being an LEO including laws and specific sections of the penal code. She even has pointed out parts of it to me that I had overlooked previously. She also is always willing to help out other deputies if they are confused about something, or want help. Overall she does a great job as a deputy and definitely is a great asset to the BCSO!
Ben L.

Myself and my ridealong noticed Ben on a traffic stop as soon as we arrived on the scene. He was energetic and professional and added an extra sense to the scene which I haven't seen in a long time. He interacted well with the others on scene and was able to deal with a situation that wasn't in his favour. He showed tremendous skill and knowledge and represented BCSO in a good light. Overall I was extremely impressed with Ben and the way he stood out from the crowd in improving the scene. Keep it up!

While on as Dispatch yesterday, I noticed the server was slow & BCSO had no calls. Due to this, I decided to give one of the new Corporals a Local Call to see how the RP'd it out. A road derbies call was given to Cody P, 3C-32. Cody took the scene with stride, created natural RP within it, involving DOT, Medical, and other BCSO units. His radio comms where great, and over all he impressed myself & Wayne (secondary comms). Good job, Cody!
Jamie S.

When I was going on LOA for personal reasons, Jamie was there for me through out all of it. He helped me and talked with me to feel better and to get over the issues I was having. If Jamie wasn't helping me through it I don't think I would be off LOA just yet. I thank you very much Jamie.

I was on a traffic stop with Kieran D. as an additional unit when I noticed his level of knowledge and restraint on the scene. The civilian we were stopping was being very combative and uncooperative with us, but Kieran was able to keep his cool and explain everything he was doing and the reasons why in the law. He had a very good knowledge of the penal code which helped deescalate the situation and helped calm down the civilian. Overall he does a great job as a deputy and that scene stood out to me because I was starting to get agitated myself!
Victoria M.

What I have notice from Victoria M. is any time she is on scene with SAFR, if someone askes her to grabs something us she is willing to do it without any questions and know how to medical, without getting asked to.
Gonzalo M.
4018
Gonzalo has been extremely helpful to me the past while. Even though he is not a part of the BCSO mentorship program, he has been going out of his way to patrol with me and help guide me as a deputy and as a potential supervisor. I am very appreciative of his guidance throughout my time in BCSO and I feel that he is deserving of a commendation for being so ready and available to those who ask him for assistance.
Jacob B.
4562
when I was on as a civ I did a scene where I was high with my mates and Jacob was tasked with taking me back to my house after I got checked over by EMS I then said I wanted some food so he stopped at the 24/7 and bought me some snacks and a drink then he took me back to my house and made sure I got inside. I think it was very cool that he did that I have had some officer that would just take me straight home without stopping Jacob as also very nice and understanding and let my character get what ever he wanted
Gonzalo M.

Gonzalo is always a helpful person, and is willing to assist anyone who needs it. It seems as if he was made to be a helpful and a person to get along with as your doing something. He shows respect and the BCSO's core values, and he does it amazingly. I can definitely see Gonzalo making a amazing Sergeant in the future, he will smash it.
Damien V. | 3C-7

I have known Damien for a few years now and he has been nothing but helpful to Civilians, fellow LEO, and myself. He shows respect and the BCSO's core values, and he does it amazingly.
Sean W.

I have been working with Sean for 3 days now and he has been an amazing role model for me and some other Deputies. He gets involved with his fellow deputies and really teaches them how to do good. Along with that he his a really cool guy to hang around with because he will make you laugh and doesn't mind doing a 10-12 with you. All around he is fun, respectful and gets things done in a timely manner. Keep up the great work!
Logan E.

Myself and Chris S were doing domestic scenes yesterday on patrol, and Logan was the primary deputy handling them. Throughout each and every scene, he exhibited amazing ability and professionalism, and truly played into the scene well to make it an exceptional experience. I played the female, and he was keeping a close eye on me throughout the day, and helping me get through the troubling times. He handled each situation perfectly, never got too stressed, and used his training to defuse each situation and obtain the best possible outcome. I was overall extremely impressed with his performance, and I think this is a great job not only by him, but from BCSO CoC who trained him, and the other amazing deputies I've encountered throughout these scenes. Great job, and thank you!
Tyler B.

Tyler and I were on a Supervisor request scene a few days ago while on a patrol ride-along, Tyler and I arrived at the scene and Tyler right away jumped into action and began his questioning of all Law Enforcement on Scene and the Civilians, he took in all of the information and considered his conclusion... there were quite a few people on the scene but he was calm even when Civilians were being aggressive, shouting loudly, and wanting Tyler to believe them, Tyler was really calm the whole time and handled each part of the scene positively and correctly and from a Members POV, we all noticed Tyler jumping into action and taking that Supervisory role, giving suggestions for an equal and fair outcome. He worked really hard at defusing the situation to the best of his ability which worked, however, he keeps it entertaining, cracks jokes to lighten the mood, and calms the Civilians down with each and every encounter we had... I really think Tyler has shown some real dedication towards the Department and Midwest in general along with putting a really good look on the Sheriff's Office. It came to the point I wish Tyler was the Supervisor on my scenes as he really knows how to calm the Civilians down even when the situation has dragged out excessively
Kai W.
4150
I have spoken with Kai a few times however he has been on a few of my Supervisor requests while I was LEO and once while I was Civilian, Kai always has some sort of smile on his face, greeting people as he sees them and showing BCSO's Core Values and honestly he just makes most of my Civilian Interactions with him and Jamie | 3C-30 by even just complementing the car while he could be pulling me over for speeding which makes it that little bit happier on a scene.
Ryan G 3C-47

I was being a CI for ryan and george, ryan did not once FRP he planned it out perfectly made sure my characters life was his priority, he made sure I was comfortable with everything that was happening, ryan is an amazing example of what any LEO should be doing, he’s helped me out with CAD stuff to! Ryan made sure anything we did during me being a CI wasn’t force and was ok with epsilon (james). THANK YOU RYAN 😘❤️

2 Very helpful units. Kai, He had a couple of deputies acting up in ways towards me and my buddy Jakari while on a traffic sop and we called a supervisor. Kai had a lot of perseverance and proactiveness when it came to said problem and helped a lot regards to the situation. Michael being the bigger person had waited for the supervisor and genuinely has so much patience. He knows when and when not to get involved and can make good decisions.
Mason M. 3C-104

During my stage 1 ride along, Mason conducted himself amazingly. He was so kind, outgoing and very good at teaching. Mason is a prime example of the BCSO core values and should be considered for further promotions! Keep up the amazing work Mason!
