I've been in this community for a year and a half basically and not once have I seen a deputy better the Church C. I watched church C grow into an amazing deputy and watched him on calls. he can easily adapt to a situation and overcome a problem if there are any problems on the scene as also as being able to connect to CIVS with how nice and approachable he is. he helps anyone who needs it and can make anyone's day better just by being there Deputy Church C would be a great COC member if he ever applied
Ryan M.

I was on a scene with Ryan in which he requested a supervisor to help make a final decision on the scene. With 4 civilians on the scene and conflicting stories, it was stressful, to say the least. He talked me through the various stories and gave me his thought process on what he thought was the right course of action, he simply just wanted a second opinion. Eventually, additional stories and information were given by the subjects on the scene, which added to the confusion. Although everyone was arguing and yelling at each other, Ryan remained calm and was able to de-escalate the situation by simply talking to the subjects and using his words. The scene eventually turned into a shooting scene, where we had multiple suspects fire firearms at law enforcement and other civilians. Ryan was able to call out locations, descriptions, and names over the radio in a timely manner which ultimately helped law enforcement on the scene carry out their duties in an efficient way. Ryan is one of those examples of what it is to be a good cop. Even under pressure he never stopped to take a break, he just kept pushing and handled the situation in front of him thoroughly, professionally, and to the best of his ability.

I was on duty as a civilian where I had been planning an escort from port 028 all the way up to 919A. BCSO units Shrey and Kaden were also involved, taking over the task of blocking intersections along the entire route. They did a great job at managing the flow of local traffic into the escort

Cameron and Conner were dispatched to a call by the prison of a man with a camera and the caller was concerned about the safety of the prison. They both came out and spoke with me, spoke with prison "staff" and they were respectful and very professional through the entire encounter. They never once pushed the issue with everything, and let me be. Well done guys

Myself and Rich were in a 10-12 for a few hours tonight. Although we had non-stop action tonight, there was one scene that stood out to me. It was an altercation that happened between a female and a male near the yellow jack. It was a simple assault scene, but Rich went above and beyond attempting to get to the facts of what happened. He spoke with both suspects and was able to get to an agreement with them so that no one went to jail. Rich showed leadership and fantastic investigation skills. He was able to deescalate the situation and come to a good outcome for everyone. Throughout the rest of the patrol, Rich always kept his composure and showed that he is an exemplary deputy.

Rich is the reason I am the deputy I am today. 2 years ago, I joined Midwest because this man egged me on for a year straight. When I got to the rank of Civilian V, Rich recommended BCSO reserve and It's a decision I never regretted. I was terrified and thought I wouldn't fit in or be a good deputy but Rich proved me otherwise. I'll never forget crying during LEO training and Rich sitting behind me the whole time watching me do it. I'll also never forget his support for me when I was PD COC and when I got terminated and he fought for 5 months straight to get me back into Midwest. I often feel he is overlooked and deserves more recognition which is why I'm writing a commendation. A lot of Rich's quality work is not seen in server but also out of server. He helps direct members to the right direction and spends a lot of his time doing TSD COC work even after working a 12+ hour shift in a tow truck IRL. If you haven't run across Rich somehow, you need to. He always gives his utmost best in server when responding to scenes and out of server. Rich is also very well known for speaking up for the people that are afraid to when they see a problem and he often has evidence that there is a problem. Even though Rich is already a very successful deputy he is always finding a way to outdo himself and I look up to him more than he will ever know for it. He knows when to be laid back and when to be professional which makes him very approachable. Keep up the excellent work, my friend.
I look forward to every interaction I have with you.

Corporal Camden was nice every time we talked even for a few seconds when the weight of the world seemed to be pressing down on me today when he came over and talked to me for a brief minutes seconds just knowing that someone analogies you felt awesome and he made me laugh thank you my day was crap and you made it better
Shrey M.

As a new officer who conducted ride alongs during slow times, I lacked a lot of experience needed for this scene. Shrey took the initiative to walk me through the exact process of creating a BOLO and explained each step and why it was important. He was very in depth with the explanations when he did not need to be.
Shrey M.
1342
Shrey went above and beyond helping a PD probationary utilizing his FTO knowledge. He skillfully walked him through the processes in which the officer was confused and failed to receive proper guidance through before. Shrey also walked the officer through several other procedures further helping the officer be better prepared in the future.

every time i am on a scene with Carson R when he is a SAPW officer. his professionalism is outstanding and he is extremely Knowledgeable and really takes the time to teach you everything about Wild Life, he is also extremely courteous to every officer on a scene and makes sure that everything is handled and if anything needs to be done he is always on top of it.

Church has always been dedicated to MidWest and is nice to everyone he sees in and out of server. Yesterday there was a scene that I had just gotten to and nobody knew who was primary on the scene... so Church took it upon himself to do the dirty work and what no one else seemed to want to do and did it perfectly. Church is a great dude and would make an even better leader.

Whilst completing a heist to break out a couple of friends, it resulted in Justin being held up. Justin did a brilliant job RPing everything out and valuing his life. Allowing the RP scene to carry on despite the overall ending of scene. Top Notch Deputy. 10/10 would RP with again!
Keep up the good work!
Kris M.

I did a major MVA with another CIV, Kris was one of the first ones on scene. His characters reaction was amazing. Went above and beyond to make his character come to life. His reactions and accent sounded like a LEOs reaction in real life! Kris tried to help out SAFR the best he could! Which is appreciated by everyone, Granted he didn’t know much medical stuff as a LEO. But he was amazing during the entire scene. Made myself and my stream laugh out loud (which is hard for me)

Samuel has been an amazing Supervisor and Deputy ever since I joined the Sheriff's Office and he always has others best interests in mind at all times. He knows what he is doing and always gets the job done in a timely and efficient manner. Samuel is a really laid back guy but also is strict when needed and that is the type of supervisor I personally like. Samuel has also recently stayed up until 7am just to simply host a training that I needed which helped me tremendously with my awkward schedule. He also made the training informational and also enjoyable. Thank you for everything Samuel keep up the great work.

I was routed out as a supervisor for an uncompliant male on a traffic stop that both Church C. and Lauren N. When I rolled up on the scene, the deputies on the scene had identified the driver of the vehicle as allegedly being the aggressor in a robbery through a ped description and vehicle description (with a plate). They attempted to order the subject out of the vehicle, but he refused multiple times and claimed they had no right to have him step out of the vehicle. Although I chirped in one time to let the subject know about the legality of LEO ordering subjects out of vehicles (Pennsylvania .v. Mimms), Church and Lauren were handling their own. What impressed me is how professional they were, how quickly they responded to a very rapid situation and potentially dangerous situation, and they never backed down and let the civilian-run their scene. I am always impressed by LEO who don't just sit back and take the disrespect of a civilian running their scene, well still remaining professional. You two impressed me!
